How does it work?
When accessing Order Dispatch you will see a list of your orders that are pending dispatch, the default view will show the following details per each order line as detailed below.
- Product Thumbnail - for ease of identification and sense checking, this will show the first item on a multiline order
- Order Number - The reference ID for this order, the top one is the external ref provided by the Sales Channel and the bottom one is the the Kornit X platform ID
- SKU - The SKU of the first item on this order.
- Customer - The shipping customer name
- Shipping Method - the shipping method on the order
- Required Dispatch - will show "Now" if none was specifically provided or will show a date if the order was populated with a specific SLA
- Creation - the timestamp for when the order was created in the platform
- Status - the status of the order
- Stats - Provides order line and item counts, line count is in orange or first and unit count is in purple or second.
- Actions - this is your call to action button which is "Dispatch" which will trigger a download any shipping labels.
The station by default will load filtered to orders in the "Pending Dispatch" status, this is because the "Jobs List" screen which this is made to work with puts orders into this status when production is complete so the 2 work together to form a workflow.
