Floor : Job Station Print

This station in the Floor Module allows for an alternative printing workflow based on the scanning of a production job barcode and subsequent scans of EAN barcode.

NOTE - this station is not accessible unless required as part of a specifically currated workflow which includes it so permissions need to be explicitly granted to this, for internal purposes the resource is "v3.floor.job-station.print". If you do not have access to this station and believe it would be beneficial to you please contact our support team.

To utilise this station you need to use a jobsheet or doument which contains the job ID barcode prefixed with "05" such as the "Floor V3 Batch SKU Summary Jobsheet" detailed here https://support.kornitx.net/portal/en/kb/articles/floor-v3-jobsheets-batch-sku-summary-jobsheet-a4-and-us-letter

NOTE - this station can be run using "external order id" as the scan, this is only recommended where this will always be unique as will not work in cases where it is not. To enable this the users primary company should have the advanced setting for "Initial Barcode Mode" under the tab "Kansas Floor / Job Station / Print Mode" should be enabled.

The workflow for this scanpoint is below

1) Download the jobsheets from PRODUCTION > JOBS
2) Pick the blank stock from the information on the jobsheet
3) Scan the job barcode into the Job Station Print which will load the job onto the screen showing details of how many print areas need to be printed
4) Scan an EAN on a product on the job which will trigger the first print area artwork to download and allow its production (assumes products already have affixed EAN barcodes)
5) continue this process to print all items and print areas on a job.

NOTE - if you do not complete all items on a job before needing to change to another you must select "Abort" to go back into job scan mode or the system will assume you are scanning another EAN and error.

NOTE - this station has been made to print all of the same print area across all products with the same EAN where multiple prints are needed before moving to the next to allow production to continue during processing. For example on a job containing DTG printed tshirts with a front and back print, all front prints need to be completed before the next EAN scan will download a back print area artwork.

By its nature, because this scanpoint does not apply item specific barcodes this workflow is not compatable with further scanning into QC, Branding or Dispatch stations in the floor module.
