Floor : Sewing Station

The Sewing Station in the Floor module provides a dedicated scan-point for multi-piece textile items that are part of a 'Cut and Sew' DTF Workflow. The station allows you to display, download or print associated Sewing Instructions for the product that is being produced.

How to add Sewing Instructions
Sewing Instructions must be uploaded (in PDF format) against each relevant Blank product in the Catalog, via the Assets menu. The full article on how to set this is available here.

How does the Sewing Station work?
The associated barcode is scanned which triggers the Sewing Instructions to be displayed onscreen for the operator to utilise accordingly. Once done, the operator clicks to confirm that sewing is complete.

Full Screen Mode
A useful option on the Kornit X Floor Station is the full screen mode. Where a single computer is going to be used only for that station, it allows a cleaner view with no room for error or switching, it keeps focus on the stations intended purpose. Full screen mode can be toggled on and off using the icon in the top right of the station which looks like the below.
