Floor Stations : Job Stock Allocation

What is the Job Stock Allocation Station?
This station allows for an alternative picking and labelling workflow.

This station is used when stock is picked by order with a jobsheet and requires each item to be labelled with a EAN barcode. This then allows each item to be scanned and the platform will automatically allocate that blank item to a production job and print a label to be used in your Floor Workflow.

How does it work?
For this to work each item / variant needs to have its EAN barcode allocated in the system. Taking blank garments as an example, each variant must have a stock product set and that stock product must have its EAN set on the products ecommerce tabs "Barcode" field. This is what the platform will use to match up blank stock on an order to production jobs.

When on this station you can scan in a production job ID with the prefix "05" which will load that job into the station. This then puts it into EAN scanning mode, showing all items on the screen and allowing the scanning of EAN barcodes to then allocate blank stock to those items. On scan the platform will produce a stock picking label with suitable barcode for the other floor stations.

An example of a suitable jobsheet that can be used is "Floor V3 Batch SKU Summary A4" as this adds the "05" prefix. This should be set against the production users primary company under Companies Advanced > Documentation > Jobsheet.
