The Simple Stock Import provides a convenient way for Fufillers to create Stock products on bulk. 

The required import format is csv.

What is the Simple Stock Import used for?
The import is used by Fulfillers to create Simple Stock Products containing Name and SKUs. Stock products can be used in conjunction with adding stock within Stock Manager and linking stock products via the Variants import. 

This import is a simple 6 columns import which can make stock products quickly. The import requires the following headers. 
  • product.supplier_company_name (this is the name of the fulfiller company)
  • product.supplier_company_ref_id (this is the 5 to 6 digit numerical reference code for the fulfiller company)
  • product.supplier_sku (the fulfiller SKU for this product)
  • product.name (the name of the product)
  • product.categories (this is the 5 to 6 digit numerical reference code for the product category)
    • Only fulfiller users can use this import as the fulfiller company name and reference must be included to run the import successfully.

    CSV Import Format Requirements
    If using Excel, the file must be saved as a .CSV.

    If using OpenOffice or equivalent, save as .CSV and be sure to:
    1. Enable 'Edit the Filter Settings'
    2. Keep Current Format
    3. Change the character set to UNICODE (UTF-8)
    4. The saving delimeter needs to be ","
    5. Enable 'Quote all text cells'
    The file can then be imported.
