Introduction
This integration allows the Kornit X platform to send order data out to a Generic Hotfolder for fulfillers using that system to produce and dispatch items.
Integration Setup
When setting this up users will need to set their Filesystem Type first. The options in the dropdown include FTP and SFTP and ask for the following pieces of data. Please note, these details will be found within your Generic Hotfolder 2.
- FTP - Requires the FTP Host, Username and Password.
- SFTP - Requires the Public Key, Host, Port, Username and Password.
Once the type has been set users need to select from the Run Interval Minutes (which offer options for Quarter Hourly and Hourly) and a Categorisation Type which offers options for Date, Product Category, Job Template Name and Custom. Please note, if selection Product Category the Batches Enabled must be filled in and for Custom the Categorisation Format must be set.
Users must also set their Filesystem Root, Select from the default Push Order Statuses (either Received or Received By Shipper). Additionally the Plugins, Artwork Format and Custom Artwork Filename Format fields need to be filled in in order for the Generic Hotfolder integration to work.
Their are optional sliders that can be enabled to improve the integration and these options have been detailed below.
- Secondary Orders - Enabling this option ensures that secondary orders can full through the integration.
- Batches Enabled - This option must be enabled if batches are intended to be used with this integration.
- Is Legacy Enabled - Enabling this option should be ticked if the integration is set for legacy orders.
- Use Legacy Document Templates - This option can be enabled if the user needs legacy document templates to be set on all orders falling into the system.

Orders for companies with a Generic Hotfolder enabled that are on the status of "received" will be sent to your Generic Hotfolder every hour.
