The Print On Demand (POD) Import provides a convenient way to create Virtual Products via CSV.  
 

 

What is the Print On Demand Import used for? 
The POD Import serves as a semi-automated solution for Brands, Retailers and Designers to create Virtual Products in bulk by applying ‘print ready’ artwork content to targeted Products in the GFN Catalogue. 

 

 

The Import is highly flexible, providing an effective way to; 

 

  • Add print ready Artwork to multiple Blank Products 
     

  • Target and apply specific Artwork to different printable locations eg Front and Back of a garment 
     

  • Create simpler DTG Virtuals, and more complex multi-piece All Over Print (AOP) apparel 

 

 

Artwork Formatting 

Artwork must be specified in the spreadsheet via URL (the files should be stored on a server and the URL must be a direct link that is publicly accessible).

The following formatting is recommended to ensure print ready: 
 

  • Raster Files - PNG or JPEG 
     

  • 300dpi (150dpi minimum) 

 

  • Sized to ‘fit’ the target print location / product 

 

 

How to use the Import 

The import requires a formatted CSV to be uploaded containing relevant Blank Product IDs, Category IDs, Artwork URLs and Design Names.
