China Platform - How To Use & Key Differences
Introduction
A version of the platform has been launched within China. Key Differences with the China Platform
The main differences with this platform is the fact that for regular platform users they will need to have a separate set of users, companies, categories, products, galleries and just about everything else that already exists within he normal version of the platform. This means all users of the China platform will have a blank canvas so for example you could remake the 50 top selling t-shirt prints by making one blank and setting artwork for 50 virtual, this is a good starting point for those aiming to sell within China.
The key takeaway here is for users of the regular platform they will find that support material already available still applies for the China Platform.
Why Are Separate Users & Companies Required?
In order to work with the Chinese platform a separate user, sub users and companies will need to have been created, this is due to the how China works with the internet through the censorship and limitations of accessible content. This means to access the Chinese market its often found that companies must pass the firewalls in place and for us this meant creating a new version of the Platform that serves solely to be accessed in China.
How Do I Create These Users & Companies?
